World Electronic Music Production
Elpeche
Arthur Carneiro, also known as ELPECHE, is a São Paulo-born, London-raised electronic music producer, musician, and audio engineer based in London and São Paulo. He has been active in the industry since 2012, working as a sound engineer, mix and master engineer, music producer, DJ and sound designer for various projects.
In the last few years, the artist has been DJing extensively across the globe, playing in clubs and festivals such as the Goulash Disko Festival (Croatia), Notting Hill Arts Club (London), House of Yes (NYC), Klunkerclanich (Berlin), Brainchild Festival (UK), Citadel Festival (UK), Virtual Burning Man, and others. In addition to performing in clubs worldwide, he has also held residencies at Vox Sound (London, UK) and Coffeeshop Club (São Paulo, BR).
Besides performing in clubs and festivals around the world, the artist has produced several songs throughout his career and has had EPs, vinyl records, and singles released by labels such as Shango Records, Buddha Bar, Cosmic Awakenings, Tropical Twista Records, Sonido Trópico, Generation Bass, Pachamama, and GATOPARDO.
Introduction
World Electronic Music Production is a 14-week course of live online classes, taught by CREAT-ED tutor ELPECHE, diving into the basic skills and intricacies of producing organic electronic music with Ableton Live.
The course is structured to accommodate intermediate and advanced producers who wish to create world electronic music with flare, dissecting all processes within the production chain, from basic Ableton layout to beat-making, sampling, using software synths, recording real-life instruments, and arrangement techniques.
With this course, students will benefit from over a decade’s worth of tips and tricks from ELPECHE, accelerating their path in the music production ladder and finishing the course with a track that is ready to be mixed and mastered at industry level.
