Creative Director, Curator and Higher Education module leader Elle Halley has clients across the creative industries including Tileyard Education, Creative UK, Arts Council England, Krems University Danube and NYU Steinhardt. Specialising in image branding, marketing and events for the entertainment industries and a passion for equality, diversity and the impact of creative arts in mental health. Elle is a Fellow of the Royal Society Of Arts.

Introduction

Visual Marketing for Creatives is a 12-week course of live online classes, taught by CREAT-Ed tutor Elle Halley and featuring special guest speakers Malcolm Garrett MBE, Sister Bliss (Faithless) and Samuel Perry-Falvey (Ren, Island Records, Warner Music, Central St Martins, Boomtown) that provides the necessary latest skills, techniques and first-hand industry insight into visual marketing for creatives.

Malcolm Garrett MBE
Malcolm Leslie Garrett MBE RDI FRSA (born 1956) is a British graphic designer, and Creative Director of Images&Co, a communications design consultancy based in London, UK. He is Ambassador for Manchester School of Art and co-founder of the annual Design Manchester festival, which has run since 2013. He came to prominence in the late 70s and early 80s through his work for music artists such as Buzzcocks, Magazine, Duran Duran, Simple Minds, Heaven 17 and Peter Gabriel. 

Sister Bliss
Ayalah Deborah Bentovim, better known by her stage name Sister Bliss. She is known for her work with Rollo Armstrong as one half of the production duo Rollo & Sister Bliss, and particularly as part of Faithless. Faithless boast a 28 -year internationally successful career encompassing seventeen top 40 singles, 6 top ten singles, 8 Top 10 albums (three at number one), a Mercury Prize nomination and the four-times-platinum Forever Faithless – The Greatest Hits, the latter contributing to career-total album sales in excess of 15 million.

Samuel Perry-Falvey
Samuel Perry-Falvey is a highly regarded Director of Photography with a distinguished international career. With a keen eye for visual storytelling, he has garnered critical acclaim for his work, exemplified by a music video nomination at the prestigious 'Energa Camerimage International Film Festival’ for 'Ren - Hi Ren’ and a Best Cinematography win at the Cornwall Film Festival for his work on the short film ‘Bugbear'. Bringing over a decade of freelance experience in both narrative and commercial video production, Sam has consistently delivered outstanding results. His portfolio spans a diverse range of projects, including music videos for renowned artists such as Ren, Sam Tompkins, and Dub Princess. Additionally, Sam has contributed his cinematographic expertise to award-winning short films and collaborated with esteemed clients such as Island Records, Mind, BUPA, Columbia Records, Warner Music Group, The Metropolitan Police, and The Co-operative Foundation.
